Lying between the Ladder and Cromdale Hills in the Cairngorms National Park, the two broad straths of the rivers Avon and Livet form the 58,000 acre Glenlivet Estate, part of The Crown Estate. Within this fine scenery can be found an extensive network of waymarked walks (18 routes to choose from) which explore many quiet, attractive parts of the estate discovering castles and hidden heritage. The wide variety of interesting upland wildlife is often encountered whilst exploring the beautiful countryside.
