Kinblethmont is a wonderful base for exploring Angus and Scotland generally. Angus is blessed with natural playgrounds; the hills and glens, rivers and beaches and man made ones, notably golf courses.
The area is steeped in history from, the Pictish origin of scotland, through the declaration of Arbroath to the ship building of the Discovery and the jute industry of Dundee. This results in many fabulous visitor attractions.
The world famous Black Angus cattle were bred here and that distinctive quality of produce is still evident. The delicious Arbroath Smokie is the headliner of the amazing seafood available in the area.
There are woodland walks and all around you can hear wonderful birdsong and if you are patient you can hear the drumming of the woodpeckers. The immediate area is also particularly suitable for cycling but over the winter the more adventurous of you may even decide to check out the snow sports at Glen Shee or the Lecht. Whatever the weather the children will have huge fun exploring the extensive woodland policies or playing hide and seek.
Kinblethmont has captured our hearts and we hope it will capture yours as well. The estate is set in the fertile rolling Angus countryside. The main house and cottages nestle in the tranquil policy woodlands in the centre of the arable farmland. Birdsong, deer and red squirrel are abundant.
